According to Forbes the world’s wealthiest just got richer to the tune of $5 Trillion, with a new billionaire being created every 17 hours, on average, during the pandemic.
Meanwhile the world’s poorest languish. A batch of vaccines arrived in Malawi last weekend, but stocks were already exhausted on Tuesday when bro Harold went to get his first shot.
Already life is very difficult here, and there are surely much harder days ahead. The economy has been severely impacted and there are no government stimulus programs or help for those who have lost their livelihoods.
