Many thanks to everyone who showed up for our first packing evening. The turnout exceeded our expectations and we quickly got through the supplies of toiletries we had gathered for the purpose. A special thank you to the sisters at Ebenezer GH for the lovely refreshments at the close.
Around 6 assemblies were represented to learn about the background to the establishment of SALT and the plans to reinforce the Gospel literature and Bible study course work among prisoners through the supply and distribution of food relief and hygiene packs.
If you are interested in helping with this work the please join our email list to be kept informed. We will shortly be compiling detailed instructions on how to assemble and return packs, so signing up will ensure you receive them. Furthermore, if you are interested in co-ordinating this effort in your area we are looking for volunteers in the UK, N.America and elsewhere.
