Please pray following the lightning strike and destruction of the Msasa on 3 Jan.
This has the potential to really discourage the workers on the ground, who had begun to really benefit from the msasa, especially now that the rains have arrived. In a community riddled with superstition, it also has the potential to disrupt the spiritual side of the work.
PRAY:
- For the complete recovery of those injured, and the encouragement of all concerned
- For the Lord’s direction concerning the rebuilding of the destroyed facility
- That the local community will not feel reluctant to visit the site / attend Bible studies due to superstitious beliefs
- For preservation of all concerned with the project at Saidi from further injury from similar incidents
