Pray

Stephen writes: This past week it’s been a real blessing for me to travel again with Harold as we did so often in years past. It’s been a joy to speak of the Lord, His Word and His Work as the miles rolled by.

Although Harold is always very discreet when speaking about his (frequent) problems and challenges, it’s evident from conversations over the past few days that the care of his extended family is a real strain on him.

Two of Harold’s sisters (Sue & Hancy) have serious medical conditions, for which they have struggled to find any help within the local health system. His mother is now in her nineties and increasingly fail. The burden of providing for their daily needs and caring and for their health needs (and those of other struggling individuals whom he regularly helps) on top of providing for his own wife and boys, is a drain on the time he seeks to devote to the Lord, and his very limited financial resources.

Please pray for Harold’s (unsaved) mother and for the health of Sue & Hancy. Particularly pray that, in the will of the Lord, they may be able to access health care that will be a real help to them.
