Rains usually expected mid-November have only just arrived in Malawi in the past few days, meaning that a significant part of the crop is only being planted when it should already be knee-high.
Others who planted when there was a brief false-start in `November have already lost what they sowed.
Please pray that the rains will be good from this point forward – the economy in Malawi is already seriously stressed and there is no buffer against a poor crop this year.
